PRODUCT CARE

FIRST WASH

A gentle handwash in cold water would be ideal to maintain colour integrity. Some stronger colours might bleed into lighter parts, so it’s best to rinse the colours out first before letting them soak.

AND then..

Next round, you can wash your t-shirt in a load with the rest of your clothes.

LOVE IT

Over time the colours will fade lovingly, you may even manage to sneak in a stain or two, it is your favourite t-shirt after all. Welcome to the joys of tie dye!

HAS IT BEEN A WHILE AND YOU'RE READY FOR A REFRESH?? SEND YOUR SHIRT BACK AND WE CAN WORK IT INTO THE NEXT CREATIVE DYE SESSION!  IT'S STILL GOOD ! - LORD SWAG

POWER OF CHOICE

The clothing you wear doesn't just tell the world how you want to be seen, but also impacts the world we live in by where it's made and how it dies.  If we make smart choices from the beginning, we can avoid issues on its life end, as clothes will eventually fade, even your favourite tie dye that you have redyed several times!

First of all, certain fabrics are easier to process than others.  Natural fibers will always take new colour the best, meaning if they fade or get stained they are easily refreshed!  Strong fabrics can be stitched up if they get too holy !  Make sure you know which kind of fabric you're taking home with you.

There are different grades to each fabric, but even a limp cotton from China is better to deal with than a thin polyester.  When you buy polyester print, it's pretty much a guarantee it's going in the bin within a couple of years.. ask yourself if that flash pattern is worth it, maybe it is! BUT it won't look good after a few washes, so let's think ahead.  Save your bucks and save the fish, that polyester isn't that hot B.

We love cotton all day every day, it breathes, it loves colour and its soft on our baby bods.  Re
member when reading food labels was weird and annoying? Let's get into reading our clothing labels folks!  100% cotton? yes please.  Linen, cashmere, bamboo fiber. And before you say anything, it's true that cotton farming has its downfalls, but we're holding out for when the hemp/cotton blend prices go down cause that was supreme quality.  Who wants to make a hemp mill in Quebec?  Let's goooo
